I have been a hairdresser for 25 years. Trained in Huntington Beach California, I worked at the “Mane Event Hair Salon” until joining my family Jean & Michael, here in Boise. I have helped in running the salons with them for the last 15 years. I specialize in coloring, corrective coloring, and “Yuko Hair Straightening”.

I was trained in Hollywood, Ca. in the Yuko System. This is a wonderful straightening process that leaves your hair in great condition with softness and shine and lasts 6 to 9 months before touching up the roots. In 2009 I was given an opportunity to apprentice under one of our industry's best and long-standing hair stylist Mrs. Jean Zoberski, the owner and founder of Spa-lon. I have been educated by instructors from Sebastian, Joico and TIGI on various new cutting, color, and styling techniques and am always continuing my education to pursue my clients happiness.

Darlene Biebuyck

I’m the most experienced hairstylist at jmz Spa-lon. I’ve been in the beauty industry for 46 years. I owned my own salon in Michigan for 25 years. When we moved to Idaho, I joined the team at Zoberski Salon Spa where I’ve been for the last 10 years. I have continued my education regularly. I also have been trained in the “Yuko Conditioning Straightening System” in California and have updated it several times. I love seeing the beautiful results of turning unruly curly hair into beautiful conditioned straight hair. I also do all the other hair services you may want. Jean & Michael Zoberski

They have been in the beauty / spa industry for 40 years. They owned 7 salons in southern California. After selling one or two at a time they ran their Huntington Beach location until 1989 when they sold and moved back to Boise where Jean was born and had family. They purchased a small salon off of Glenwood St. (“Visual Effects”) to start a small family business. Within two years it had grown to capacity, so they expanded to the north side of town where Michael ran a second location. After 4 years they sold both locations to build a new beautiful day spa on State St. (“Zoberski's Salon Spa”). Within two years they were at full capacity in that building so they purchased the building next door and expanded into it. They operated the business, increasing every year, until 2004, when an opportunity to sell presented itself. They thought after 35 years it was time to retire, so they sold. However, life has a way with you. They only have had 5 years of not-so-great retirement. Things went awry with the buyers and the Zoberski’s are back in business. They have remodeled, keeping most of the original staff. Adding some new and exciting staff and services, they are excited to go another round. Jean is servicing clients five days a week. She specializes in coloring and specialty perms. She is an educator, having an instructor’s license; she has apprenticed several people in the industry, as well as taught perming to salons in the northwest. Michael prefers cutting men’s hair, and does so five days a week. Michael is a “Nioxin for thinning hair", specialist.

Their goal is to provide the same high quality of service to their clients, but, in this tough economy, at a very reasonable price. They invite you to check it out for yourself.

Mary Lou Wickham

I have been a bodyworker and massage therapist for 13 years. In 2001 I founded Body Dynamics which focuses on therapeutic and corrective bodywork. I joined the "jmz Spa-lon" team to add a new dimension to my work.

I specialize in eliminating pain and restoring the body to its proper structural alignment. Although my training at the California Hellerwork Institute trained me in my primary therapy, which is Hellerwork/Rolfing, I have acquired a much larger skill set through ongoing education in Reflexology, Craniosacral, Visceral Manipulation, as well as Relaxation. Through my experiences, I have come to understand how pain depletes the body of its energy and vitality. I believe that by retraining each individual body to avoid the causes of its own pain, and with periodic and personalized massages designed for maintaining the alignment, pain can be avoided indefinitely if structurally caused. Regular maintenance is the key!

My hours at "jmz Spa-lon" are Thursday and Friday from 2-7 and every other Saturday 10-3. My special rates for fall/winter are $55 for 60 min and $75 for 90 min. I will honor specials the Spa offers. I am a Foot Care Professional with specialized medical training for senior and diabetic foot care. I was the administrator for the St. Alphonsus Foot Clinics for 6 years until they were closed due to budget cuts.

My passion is helping seniors feel better by keeping their feet healthy; that is why I opened Nails by Cindy J two years ago, to continue to help the seniors in the Treasure Valley.

I work with reflexology, specifically with the Kindness Foot Zone Therapy. I offer Foot Zone sessions, which are 45 minutes and work the entire body through the feet. The first Foot Zone massage is half price, only $25 and that can be incorporated into a pedicure or a stand alone service.
